Oil cooler: the “fan” of oil lubrication

An oil cooler is a device that accelerates the dissipation of heat from the lubricating oil to keep it at a lower temperature. In the high-performance, high-power reinforced engine, due to the large heat load, must be equipped with oil cooler. The oil cooler is arranged in the lubricating oil circuit, and its working principle is the same as that of the radiator.
Classification:
① Engine oil cooler: cooling engine lubricating oil, to maintain a reasonable temperature of the oil (90-120 degrees), reasonable viscosity; installation location in the engine block parts, installation with the shell for installation.
② Transmission oil cooler: cool the lubricating oil of the transmission, installed in the engine radiator in the lower water chamber or the outside of the transmission case, if the air-cooled type is installed in the front side of the radiator.
③ Retarder oil cooler: cools the lubricating oil when the retarder is working, installed on the outside of the gearbox, mostly for the tube and shell type or water-oil composite products.
④ Exhaust gas recirculation cooler: It is a device used to cool part of the exhaust gas returned to the engine cylinder, in order to reduce the content of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas of the automobile.
⑤ Heat dissipation cooler module: It is a device that can simultaneously cool cooling water, lubricating oil, compressed air and other objects or part of the objects at the same time. The cooling module adopts a highly integrated design idea and is characterized by full-featured, small-size, intelligent and high-efficiency.
⑤ The air cooler, also called intercooler, is a device used to cool the high-temperature and high-pressure air after engine pressurization. Through the cooling of the intercooler, the temperature of the pressurized air can be lowered, thus increasing the density of the air, in order to achieve the purpose of engine power, reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
